OTSL's Shorebreak Men’s Soccer Team Claims Tournament Title After Dominant Weekend Performance (bracket below)

SAVANNAH GEORGIA -- OTSL's own Shorebreak Men’s Soccer Team captured the Men's O50 Championship title at the Beer City Cup/Savannah GA this past weekend, delivering a series of disciplined, high‑energy performances that showcased the group’s depth, resilience, and competitive edge.

Across the two‑day event, Shorebreak conceeded just 3 goals, defeating opponents from all over the southeast through a combination of organized defending, creative midfield play, and clinical finishing in the final third. The championship match concluded with a decisive 3-0 score, sealing the team’s place at the top of the tournament divison standings.

Team Captain Mike Marston praised the group’s effort, noting that “our team showed up with grit and commitment. Every match demanded something different, and they rose to the challenge each time.”

The victory marks an important milestone in the team’s spring campaign and sets a strong foundation for future competitions. The players return to their regular league play at the OTSL in Virginia Beach where some compete in their Winter Playoffs and start the Spring season.
